What are the main ingredients in dark chocolate,
and what are some of the best brands of dark chocolate?
On average dark chocolate is 60% cocoa and it has little to no sugar added. Instead of being made from fats, dark chocolate is made from cocoa butter. Dark chocolate has more flavonoids therefore it has more health benefits.(university of michigan, 2016)
"A true dark chocolate will never have sugar listed first in the ingredients. It should always be below the cocoa ingredients."
Is a quote from the article Healthy Eater.
